Ever stumbled upon a recipe that just screams comfort and excitement all at once? That's what happened to me with this spicy cornbread. Found scrawled on an old napkin, I tweaked it to wave goodbye to dairy, welcoming all the warmth without the moo.
Cooking this cornbread brings back memories of a chilly autumn evening, a kitchen filled with laughter, and the spicy scent wafting through the air. It was the star at our family game night, paired wonderfully with a hearty chili.
This version uses dairy-free spread and a kick of jalapenos to keep it friendly for all tummies. It's as easy to whip up as it is to devour. Perfect for those who like a little spice, it's sure to warm you from the inside out.
Not just for family events, this spicy cornbread has made its rounds at potlucks and picnics, always returning home with an empty dish. It's a simple pleasure, spicy, crumbly, and utterly delightful. Just the way a good cornbread should be!
